Was bedeutet der Fehlercode?
The ECM keeps an eye on the A/C system and judges whether the A/C pressure sensor reading is plausible. The fault is set when the signal drops below a limit, which can be caused by an electrical fault in the sensor or its connections.
Mögliche Ursachen
- Open circuit in the signal wire
- Damaged A/C pressure sensor
- Signal wire shorted to ground
Was Sie tun können
- 1Read the fault code, clear it and test drive with the engine at higher revs to see whether it returns
- 2Check the A/C pressure sensor connectors for play, contact resistance and oxidation
- 3Check the signal wire to the A/C pressure sensor for breaks and shorts to ground
- 4If you have a diagnostic tool: read the A/C pressure in live data with the engine running and check that it changes when the A/C compressor is switched on
- 5If the wires are fault-free: have a workshop fit a new A/C pressure sensor
