Was bedeutet der Fehlercode?
The engine control module (ECM) adjusts the air-fuel mixture using the bank 1 oxygen sensor to bring it to lambda 1. If the adjustment has to sit close to its limit at higher load and therefore cannot keep up, the code is set. The cause may be an air leak or low fuel pressure, but a damaged oxygen sensor can also set the code.
Mögliche Ursachen
- Intake system leak
- Exhaust system leak
- Low fuel pressure
- Damaged heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) on bank 1
Was Sie tun können
- 1Read and clear the fault code and check whether it returns
- 2Check the intake system for air leaks at hoses and connections; leaks can also come from the fuel vapour valve, a secondary-air solenoid or the brake booster
- 3Check the exhaust system for leaks at joints and flanges
- 4If you have a diagnostic tool, read the lambda integrator in live data at idle and under load
- 5Have a workshop measure the fuel pressure if the fault remains after these checks
Symptome, die Sie bemerken können1
- No noticeable symptoms for the driver
Allgemeine Hinweise für Fahrzeughalter. Die Diagnose am Fahrzeug kann eine andere Ursache zeigen.
