Was bedeutet der Fehlercode?
Although the code is titled faulty signal, it applies when the pump current to the front oxygen sensor on bank 1 has stopped. The sensor signal is then set to a default value, and that is when the code is stored.
Mögliche Ursachen
- Contact resistance and oxidation at the connections
- Open circuit in the cable for pump current
- Damaged front heated oxygen sensor
Was Sie tun können
- 1Read and note the code, clear it and road test to see whether it returns
- 2Check the oxygen sensor connector for oxidation and loose connections. Do not use rust solvent spray or grease in it
- 3If possible, take readings from the cable side of the connector so it is not damaged
- 4Use a multimeter to check that the pump current cable has no open circuit
- 5If the cable and connector are intact, have a workshop try a new oxygen sensor
