Was bedeutet der Fehlercode?
The engine control module (ECM) has detected a fuel pressure sensor signal that is higher than it should be. The cause may lie in the sensor, in the wiring to it, or in the connectors.
Mögliche Ursachen
- Signal cable shorted to ground
- Signal cable shorted to supply voltage
- Open circuit in the signal cable
- Open circuit in the signal ground wire
- Contact resistance, oxide or loose contact in connectors and connections
- Damaged fuel pressure sensor
Was Sie tun können
- 1Read the code, clear it and drive until the engine is warm. Then check whether it returns
- 2If you have a diagnostic tool: check in live data whether the fuel pressure sensor value changes with the engine running, or stays constantly high
- 3Check that the connector at the fuel pressure sensor is secure and free from oxide and contact resistance
- 4With the car switched off, use a multimeter to check that the signal wire has no contact with ground or supply voltage and is not broken
- 5Check the ground wire to the sensor for an open circuit
- 6If no damage or connector fault is visible, have a workshop try a new fuel pressure sensor
Symptome, die Sie bemerken können5
- Engine lacks power when moving off from standstill
- Engine hesitates, surges or runs unevenly under acceleration
- Engine hesitates or surges when slowing down
- Engine is hard to start, cranks slowly or does not start
- Check engine lamp (Malfunction Indicator Light) comes on or behaves abnormally
