Was bedeutet der Fehlercode?
The engine control module (ECM) has detected a fuel pressure sensor signal that is lower than it should be. Possible causes include poor connector contact, an open or short circuit in the wiring, or a damaged fuel pressure sensor.
Mögliche Ursachen
- Contact resistance or oxide in the terminals
- Signal cable shorted to supply voltage
- Open circuit in the signal cable
- Open circuit in the signal ground wire
- Signal cable shorted to ground
- Damaged fuel pressure sensor
Was Sie tun können
- 1Read and note the code, clear it, warm the engine and see whether it returns
- 2If you have a diagnostic tool: check the fuel pressure value in live data with the engine running and see whether it looks too low or stays still
- 3Check that the connector at the fuel pressure sensor is secure and free from contact resistance and oxide
- 4With the car switched off, use a multimeter to check that the signal cable is not broken and not shorted to ground
- 5Check the signal ground wire for an open circuit
- 6If no damage or connector fault is visible, have a workshop try a new fuel pressure sensor and check that the fault clears

- Engine may stall at any time
- Engine hesitates, surges or runs unevenly under acceleration and when slowing down
- Engine is hard to start, cranks slowly or does not start at all
- Check engine lamp (Malfunction Indicator Light) comes on or behaves abnormally
