Was bedeutet der Fehlercode?
The engine control module (ECM) monitors the function of the fuel temperature sensor. The fault code is set when the signal from the sensor is too low, which can be caused by the cable being short-circuited to ground, an open circuit or a damaged sensor.
Mögliche Ursachen
- Cable short-circuited to ground
- Open circuit in the signal or ground lead
- Contact resistance or oxidation in the connector
- Damaged fuel temperature sensor
Was Sie tun können
- 1Disconnect the connector at the fuel temperature sensor and check that it is clean and secure
- 2Using a multimeter, check that the cable from the sensor has no contact with the body
- 3Check that both the signal and ground leads to the sensor are intact, with no open circuit
- 4If the wiring is intact but the fault remains, have a workshop check the fuel temperature sensor
Symptome, die Sie bemerken können1
- No noticeable symptoms for the driver
Allgemeine Hinweise für Fahrzeughalter. Die Diagnose am Fahrzeug kann eine andere Ursache zeigen.
