Was bedeutet der Fehlercode?
The exhaust side camshaft position sensor provides a signal that tells the engine control module where the exhaust camshaft is. If the signal occasionally drops out, the control module treats it as a fault and stores the code. The engine may be hard to start.

- The camshaft position sensor is in the wrong position
- Damaged camshaft position sensor
- Loose connection
- Camshafts incorrectly adjusted
Was Sie tun können
- 1Clear the code, start the engine, raise the speed a few times and road test the car
- 2Check that the exhaust camshaft sensor connector is secure and free from oxidation
- 3Check that the sensor is correctly installed and that neither the sensor nor its housing is damaged
- 4If you have a diagnostic tool: read the fault status and see whether the code is permanent or only intermittent at the moment
- 5If the fault returns, have a workshop check the camshaft angle against the crankshaft
