The control module checks the signal wire to ignition coil 3 and sets the code when the signal is missing. The code identifies ignition coil 3.
Mögliche Ursachen
- Contact resistance in the connections
- Open circuit in the signal wire
- Damaged ignition coil
Was Sie tun können
- 1Clear the code and road test the car to see whether it returns
- 2Look at the connector at ignition coil 3: it should be fully seated and free from oxidation
- 3Inspect the wire to ignition coil 3 for breaks, chafing and pinched sections
- 4Use a multimeter to check that the signal wire to coil 3 is intact
- 5If the fault remains, have a workshop check ignition coil 3 with diagnostic equipment
