Was bedeutet der Fehlercode?
The engine control module monitors the drive signal for the heating element inside the leak diagnostic unit, and the fault code is set when that signal is missing. This usually points to an open circuit in the signal wire, but a damaged leak diagnostic pump can also cause the fault. The fault shows up while the engine runs and the leak diagnosis is running.

- 1Check the whole signal wire to the leak diagnostic unit for an open circuit
- 2Use a multimeter to check that the signal wire is intact from the engine control module to the leak diagnostic unit
- 3Repair the break by splicing or replacing the damaged wire
- 4Look for chafed or pinched wiring, especially where it runs to the leak diagnostic unit
- 5Have a workshop check the leak diagnostic unit and the pump if the wiring is intact but the fault remains
