Was bedeutet der Fehlercode?
The engine control module (ECM) has lost communication with the central electronic module (CEM) over the CAN network. The fault may lie in a broken wire, in fault codes stored in the CEM, or in the CEM itself. The code may be a follow-on fault, in which case the fault in the CEM should be fixed first. The driver normally notices nothing.
Mögliche Ursachen
- Break in the CAN wiring
- Fault codes stored in the central electronic module (CEM)
- Faulty central electronic module (CEM)
Was Sie tun können
- 1Read and fix the codes in the central electronic module (CEM) first, since this code may be a follow-on fault
- 2Look for breaks, chafing or pinched sections in the CAN wiring between the engine control module and the CEM
- 3Check that the connectors on the control modules are fully seated and free from corrosion
- 4Clear the code and road test to see whether it returns
- 5If the fault remains, have a workshop check the CEM with diagnostic equipment
Symptome, die Sie bemerken können1
- No noticeable symptoms for the driver
