Was bedeutet der Fehlercode?
The engine control module (ECM) regulates idle speed and has registered that the actual idle speed has been above the limit value for a certain time. During a cold start the ECM deliberately raises idle to warm up the catalytic converter, so a higher speed at that time is normal.

- Air leakage in the intake system
- Fault in the air or fuel system, for example leakage or blockages

- 1If idle is high and uneven: look for leaks and damage in the intake, especially hoses and connections
- 2With a diagnostic tool you can read idle speed in live data with the engine idling and see whether it holds steady
- 3After repair: clear the code, let the engine idle for a while and check that idle speed becomes even
- 4If the fault returns or idle stays high and uneven, have a workshop with diagnostic equipment search for the cause in the air and fuel system
