Was bedeutet der Fehlercode?
The engine control module (ECM) monitors the turbo system and its components. The fault is set when the boost pressure is above the permitted limit, or when the actual boost pressure differs from the pressure the control module calculates.
Mögliche Ursachen
- Jammed guide vanes in the turbocharger
- Leaks or blocked hoses to the turbocharger or the turbo control valve
- Damaged vacuum capsule
- Damaged turbo control valve
- Damaged turbo control motor
- Damaged turbocharger
Was Sie tun können
- 1Read the code, clear it and road test to see whether it returns
- 2Look at the hoses to the turbocharger and turbo control valve for cracks, loose connections and blockages
- 3Check that the air filter and intake hoses seal properly, and look for air leaks
- 4If you have a diagnostic tool: read the boost pressure and the calculated boost pressure in live data while driving, and see whether they agree
- 5If the fault remains, have a workshop check the turbocharger, guide vanes and turbo control valve with diagnostic equipment
