    Was bedeutet der Fehlercode?

The boost pressure sensor signal stays above a certain value for a set time, and the fault is an electrical one where the voltage is too high. The fault may lie in the sensor, its wiring, the connectors or the signal ground wire.

    Mögliche Ursachen

    • Contact resistance or oxidation in the connections
    • Signal wire shorted to voltage
    • Open circuit in the signal wire
    • Open circuit in the signal ground wire
    • Damaged boost pressure sensor

    Was Sie tun können

    1. 1Read the code, clear it and road test to see whether it returns
    2. 2If you have a diagnostic tool: with the ignition on, boost pressure in live data should equal atmospheric pressure. If it reads high already then, the sensor or its wiring is suspect
    3. 3Look at the sensor connector for oxidation, chafing and loose connections
    4. 4Use a multimeter to check that the signal wire is not shorted to positive and that the ground wire is not broken
    5. 5If the fault remains, have a workshop check the boost pressure sensor with diagnostic equipment

    Symptome, die Sie bemerken können2

    • The check engine lamp comes on or behaves abnormally
    • The car feels poor to drive, with reduced performance and lack of power

    Was der Fehler beeinflussen kann1

    • Boost pressure is limited

Allgemeine Hinweise für Fahrzeughalter. Die Diagnose am Fahrzeug kann eine andere Ursache zeigen.
