Was bedeutet der Fehlercode?
This code never appears on its own. The engine control module (ECM) compares the PWM and analogue pedal signals and sets the code when they differ too much from each other. It is also set when one of the throttle position sensor circuit codes is stored, or when the two throttle unit potentiometers do not agree.
Mögliche Ursachen
- Poor connections, with high contact resistance, on the analogue signal wire
- Fault in the power supply to the analogue signal
- Fault in the analogue signal ground
- Fault in the PWM signal wire between the engine control module and the pedal sensor
- Damaged accelerator pedal sensor
- Fault in the throttle position sensor circuit of the electronic throttle unit
Was Sie tun können
- 1Check that the fuses are intact; their locations are in the owner's manual or on the fuse box cover
- 2With a diagnostic tool, read both pedal signals in live data while pressing and releasing the pedal slowly; they should follow each other without sudden drops
- 3Check the connectors at the pedal sensor and the engine control module for contact resistance and oxidation
- 4Use a multimeter to check that the supply and ground wires to the pedal sensor have no open circuit
- 5Check the signal wire for open circuit and for contact with ground or supply voltage
- 6Replace the pedal sensor first only if the signals are wrong and the wiring is intact
Symptome, die Sie bemerken können5
- Message in the display
- Poor response from the accelerator pedal
- Accelerator pedal ignored when braking
- Maximum vehicle speed is reduced
- Malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) is lit
Was der Fehler beeinflussen kann2
- Acceleration is ignored when braking
- The control module uses the lowest value of the pedal position input signals
Allgemeine Hinweise für Fahrzeughalter. Die Diagnose am Fahrzeug kann eine andere Ursache zeigen.
