Was bedeutet der Fehlercode?
The drive signal to the pump's changeover valve is too high according to the engine control module (ECM), which then sets the code. The cause is a short circuit to supply voltage in the signal wire, or a damaged pump, and the leakage diagnosis is interrupted while the fault is present.

- 1Check that the relevant fuses are intact; see the car's owner's manual for locations
- 2Inspect the connector of the leak diagnostic unit for loose contacts and oxidation
- 3Follow the signal wire to the leak diagnostic unit and look for chafing, pinching and places where it may have contact with supply voltage
- 4Use a multimeter to check that the signal wire to the leak diagnostic unit has no contact with supply voltage
- 5If you have a diagnostic tool, activate the valve and listen for a click. If no click is heard, the fault is present right now
- 6If the fault returns, have a workshop with diagnostic equipment check the pump and the wiring
