The ECM stores the code when the fuel pressure sensor reading is too low. The cause is given as a damaged low-pressure fuel pressure sensor.

- 1Check that the relevant fuses are intact
- 2Check the connector to the fuel pressure sensor for contact resistance and oxidation
- 3If you have a diagnostic tool, read the fuel pressure value in live data with the engine running and see whether it seems reasonable
- 4Use a multimeter to check that the wires to the fuel pressure sensor have no open circuit
- 5If the fault remains after these checks, have a workshop with diagnostic equipment check the fuel pressure sensor
