Was bedeutet der Fehlercode?
The fault is intermittent: the signal from the position sensor for the turbo's variable guide vanes has at some point been irregular or missing. The fault may be gone right now, so it can be hard to see on a short test drive.
Mögliche Ursachen
- Loose connections
- Contact resistance or oxidation in the connections
- Moisture in the air intake system
- Damaged position sensor
Was Sie tun können
- 1Check that the connector to the turbo position sensor is firmly seated and free from oxidation
- 2Check the air intake system for moisture or water
- 3If you have a diagnostic tool: follow the position sensor value in live data with the engine running and see whether it jumps or drops out
- 4Erase the code and test drive; if it returns, have a workshop check the position sensor
Symptome, die Sie bemerken können1
- Check engine light comes on or behaves abnormally
Was der Fehler beeinflussen kann1
- Exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) control stops
