Was bedeutet der Fehlercode?
The ECM monitors the control signal that goes to the fuel pump control module (PEM). This code concerns fuel pump B and is set when there is a fault in that control signal, which can come from wiring, the supply feed or the control module itself.
Mögliche Ursachen
- A fault that the CEM has logged itself
- Signal wire shorted to ground
- Open circuit in the signal wire
- Break in the voltage feed between the CEM and the fuel pump control module
- Damaged fuel pump control module
Was Sie tun können
- 1Read the codes in the CEM, since a fault registered there can cause this code
- 2Check that the fuse for the fuel pump and the supply to the control module are intact
- 3Use a multimeter to check that the control signal wire is not shorted to ground
- 4Check the wiring and connectors between the CEM and the fuel pump control module for chafing and breaks
- 5If nothing is found, have a workshop with diagnostic equipment check the fuel pump control module
Symptome, die Sie bemerken können2
- Engine cranks but does not start
- Engine stalls while driving, at unpredictable times or all the time
Allgemeine Hinweise für Fahrzeughalter. Die Diagnose am Fahrzeug kann eine andere Ursache zeigen.
