Was bedeutet der Fehlercode?
The IAM unit reads the signal from the speaker in the left front door as too low. The fault comes from the signal wire having contact with ground, meaning the car body, so the signal does not reach the module at the right level.
Mögliche Ursachen
- Short circuit to ground on the signal wire between the module and the speaker in the left front door
Was Sie tun können
- 1Switch the ignition off and check the connectors at the integrated audio module for contact resistance, play and oxidation
- 2Follow the signal wire from the module to the speaker in the left front door and look for chafing or spots where the cable may touch the car body
- 3Use a multimeter to check that the signal wire has no contact with ground (the car body)
- 4If the wire is intact and the connectors are sound, have a workshop check the module and the speaker
- 5After the work, clear the fault code and check that it does not come back
