Was bedeutet der Fehlercode?
The parking assistance camera module (PAC) talks to the brake control module (BCM) non-stop. The fault is set when communication with the BCM is disturbed or missing. The fault can come from a missing voltage supply or ground to the brake control module, contact resistance, broken or short-circuited CAN wires, or a brake control module that is not intended for the car.

- No power reaches the brake control module (BCM)
- Open circuit in the ground wire to the brake control module (BCM)
- Contact resistance in the connections
- Open circuit or short circuit in the CAN wires
- The brake control module (BCM) does not match this car, such as a second-hand unit with other software or hardware
Was Sie tun können
- 1Check that the fuses are intact and that the earth points to the brake control module are firmly fixed and not oxidised
- 2Erase the fault code and test drive the car to see whether it comes back
- 3Has the brake control module been replaced recently? Tell the workshop, since it then needs the right software
- 4Have a workshop check the power supply and the CAN wires to the brake control module. The braking system is safety-critical, so do not work on the brake control module yourself
