Was bedeutet der Fehlercode?
The parking assistance module (PAM) has registered that the voltage in the signal wire from parking sensor 7 is too high. The fault concerns the signal from that sensor and occurs when the high voltage is present in the wire, in the connectors or in the sensor.
Mögliche Ursachen
- Short-circuit to supply voltage in the signal wire, or in the connectors linking the PAM to parking sensor 7
- The parking sensor 7 itself is short-circuited to supply voltage
- Open circuit in the ground wire or the connectors between the PAM and parking sensor 7
Was Sie tun können
- 1Read and clear the code, then test drive the car to see whether the fault comes back
- 2With the ignition switched off, disconnect the connector to parking sensor 7, the inner sensor on the right front side
- 3Use a multimeter to check that the signal wire to the sensor is not in contact with the supply voltage
- 4Check that the ground wire to parking sensor 7 has no break and that the connectors are clean
- 5If the wiring shows no fault, replace the parking sensor and read the code again
