Was bedeutet der Fehlercode?
The parking assistance module (PAM) has registered that the voltage in the signal wire from parking sensor 7 is too low, or that the signal is missing. The fault may be caused by a short to ground or by a break in the signal or supply wire, or in the connectors.
Mögliche Ursachen
- Short-circuit to ground in the signal wire or the connectors between the PAM and parking sensor 7
- Open circuit in the signal wire or the connectors between the PAM and parking sensor 7
- Open circuit in the supply wire or the connectors between the PAM and parking sensor 7
Was Sie tun können
- 1Read and clear the code, then test drive the car to see whether it comes back
- 2With the ignition switched off, disconnect the connector to parking sensor 7, the inner sensor on the right front side
- 3Use a multimeter to check that the signal wire has neither contact with ground nor a break
- 4Carry out the same check on the supply wire to the sensor
- 5Check that the connectors are intact and free from oxidation; replace the parking sensor first only if the wiring is intact
