Was bedeutet der Fehlercode?
The parking assistance module (PAM) monitors the DC voltage in the signal wire to the inner right front sensor and has registered an incorrect value for a longer period. It is a general electrical fault code, and the cause may be a loose sensor, a short to ground, oxidation in the connectors or a break in the supply.

- Short-circuit to ground in the wire
- Contact resistance or oxidation in the connections
- Short-circuit in the connections
- Open circuit in the voltage supply wire

- 1Read and clear the code, then test drive the car to see whether it comes back
- 2If B1B5711 or B1B5811 is also stored, start the fault tracing there: they point to a short to ground in the sensor supply wire
- 3If you have a diagnostic tool, read the fault data for the inner right front sensor and see whether it shows a fault on the signal
- 4Check that the connectors at the sensor and along the wire to the parking assistance module are firmly seated and free from oxidation
- 5Use a multimeter to check that the supply wire to the sensor has no contact with ground and no break
- 6If the wiring is intact, have a workshop trace the fault further
