- 1Read and clear the code, then switch the ignition on again to see whether it comes back
- 2If you have a diagnostic tool, read the signal status for the outer right rear sensor, with and without the sensor connector attached
- 3With the ignition switched off, use a multimeter to check that the signal wire between the parking assistance module and the sensor connector has no contact with supply voltage
- 4Check the connectors at the sensor and the other connectors along the wire, so that none of them gives contact with the supply wire
- 5If the wiring is intact, have a workshop trace the fault further
