Was bedeutet der Fehlercode?
The parking assistance module has registered that communication on the medium-speed CAN network is disturbed, either by another control module on the network or by faulty messages from the parking assistance module itself. The code gives no further information about the type of fault.
Mögliche Ursachen
- Short-circuit between the CAN wires
- Open circuit in one of the CAN wires
- Internal fault in another control module on the same part of the CAN network
- Damaged parking assistance module
Was Sie tun können
- 1Read and clear the code, then test drive the car to see whether it comes back
- 2Check that the connectors on the CAN wires are firmly seated and free from oxidation, and that the wires are not chafed
- 3If you have a diagnostic tool, check whether codes are stored in the other control modules, since bad messages may originate in any module on the same network branch
- 4Have a workshop measure the resistance in the MS-CAN network and look for short-circuits or breaks in the wires
- 5Have a workshop find the control module that communicates incorrectly by disconnecting control modules one at a time
- 6If the fault remains and the network is intact, have a workshop replace the parking assistance module
Symptome, die Sie bemerken können3
- The parking assistance system does not work
- The information lamp is lit
- Message in the text display
Was der Fehler beeinflussen kann2
- The parking assistance module switches itself off from the CAN network (bus-off) and stays off until the power supply is interrupted
- When the car is restarted, the control module tries to communicate again
