Was bedeutet der Fehlercode?
The parking assistance module no longer receives replies from the transmission control module (TCM), although it communicates with it all the time. The fault lies in the control module that should send the signal, or in the wires and connectors between the control modules.
Mögliche Ursachen
- The fault lies in the control module that should send the signal (sending control module)
- A break or short-circuit in the CAN wires between the control modules
- Faulty software in the control module that stored the code, after a control module was replaced without new software being loaded
Was Sie tun können
- 1Read and clear the code, then test drive the car with the engine running to see whether it comes back
- 2Think about whether any control module has been replaced in the car without new software being loaded, and tell the workshop
- 3If you have a diagnostic tool, check whether codes are stored in the transmission control module and in the central electronic module (CEM)
- 4Check that the connectors at the parking assistance module are firmly seated and free from oxidation
- 5Have a workshop check the CAN wires between the control modules and trace the control module that should send the signal
- 6If the code is stored only in the parking assistance module, have a workshop load the latest software into it
