Was bedeutet der Fehlercode?
The parking assistance module no longer receives the information it needs from the central electronic module (CEM) over the CAN communication. The code is stored when communication with the CEM is absent, and The fault lies in the sending control module, which here is the CEM, or in the wires between the control modules.
Mögliche Ursachen
- The fault lies in the sending control module, here the central electronic module (CEM)
- A break or short-circuit in the CAN wires between the control modules
- Faulty signal configuration in the control module that stored the code, after a control module was replaced without new software being loaded
Was Sie tun können
- 1Check that the fuses are intact, and that the fuses for the parking assistance and the central electronic module have not blown
- 2Read and clear the code, then test drive the car to see whether it comes back
- 3If you have a diagnostic tool, check whether communication codes are stored in the central electronic module (CEM)
- 4Check that the connectors on the CAN wires are firmly seated and free from oxidation
- 5Have a workshop measure the CAN wires and continue the fault tracing; the central electronic module should not be replaced unless it has an internal fault
- 6If the fault remains, have a workshop load new software into the control module that should send the signal
