Was bedeutet der Fehlercode?
The parking brake module (PBM) supplies the left brake caliper and checks how much current it draws on activation. The fault code is stored when the current does not reach the correct level, and the cause is a mechanical fault in the left brake caliper, for example that it has been assembled incorrectly.

- 1Read the fault code, clear it and test drive the car using the parking brake to see whether it returns
- 2Has anyone recently worked on the left brake caliper? If so, the assembly may be wrong, and a workshop should check it
- 3Check that the connectors to the left brake caliper are firmly fitted
- 4If the fault returns, have a workshop check the caliper and replace it if it is incorrectly fitted or damaged
- 5The parking brake is a safety function: have a workshop check it if it does not work as it should
