The control module has registered a break in the signal wire to the mirror motor for fold-in while the function is being used. The door mirror control then does not work.

1Check that the fuse for the mirror is intact and replace it if it is blown
2Use a multimeter to check that the signal wire for the mirror fold-in has no open circuit
3Look for damage, chafing and loose connections at the mirror and the control module
4If a fault is found, replace the signal wire. If no fault is found, try replacing the mirror
5After the work, check that the mirror folds in and out
