Was bedeutet der Fehlercode?
The telephone module (PHM) tries to communicate with the passenger door module (PDM), but gets no reply when the ignition is on. The fault can have several causes, for example a damaged fuse, a missing supply or earth to the module, poor contact in the connections, or a break in the CAN network. The passenger door switch panel then does not work.
Mögliche Ursachen
- Damaged fuse
- No power supply to the passenger door module (PDM)
- Break in the earth wire to the passenger door module (PDM)
- Contact resistance or oxidation in connector terminals
- The passenger door module (PDM) is not intended for this car, for example a used unit with different software or hardware
- Break in the CAN network
Was Sie tun können
- 1Look at the fuse for the passenger door module in the fuse box. Its location is shown in the owner's manual or on the cover of the box
- 2Test the passenger window: if it can be raised and lowered with the ignition on, the supply is probably in order
- 3Look for oxidised or loose connectors at the passenger door and at the telephone module
- 4If the fault remains, have a workshop trace the passenger door module and the CAN network with diagnostic equipment
Symptome, die Sie bemerken können3

- Volvo On Call does not work as it should
- The mobile phone has problems, and a message appears in the text display
