VOLVO
PSCM-C200B96 - Steering Shaft Torque Sensor 1. Component Failures. Component internal failure
System
Servolenkungs-Steuermodul (PSCM)
Volvo-Modelle, für die dieser Fehlercode gilt
Gilt für folgende Modelle:
2 ModelleS60 (2011–), V60 (2011–)
Was bedeutet der Fehlercode?
The power steering control module (PSCM) has measured a steering torque outside the permitted range. The torque sensor in the steering gear measures how much force is put into the steering, so the fault may lie in the sensor, in the connectors or in the control module itself.
Mögliche Ursachen
- Connector problems at the torque sensor: resistance, oxidation or looseness
- Steering gear torque sensor is damaged
- Damaged power steering control module (PSCM)
Was Sie tun können
- 1Clear the fault code and test drive to see whether it returns
- 2Check that the connectors at the torque sensor and at the control module are firmly seated and free from oxidation
- 3If you have a diagnostic tool: turn the wheel slowly in both directions and check that the steering torque changes evenly
- 4Check that the steering column turns freely and does not bind
- 5Safety note: steering is safety-critical, so have a workshop replace the sensor or the control module if the fault remains
Symptome, die Sie bemerken können3
- Text window with warning symbol and text message
- Steering requires extra or uneven effort
- Other steering or handling problems
Was der Fehler beeinflussen kann1
