The right power seat control module (PSR) has registered that the MEM button, used to store a seat position, has been activated for longer than allowed. The button may have jammed in the pressed position, or the control panel may be damaged.

1Check that the seat fuses are intact; their locations are in the owner's manual or on the fuse chart
2Press the MEM button in and release it. It should spring back freely; if it sticks or stays down, the control panel is the fault
3Check that the control panel is firmly fitted and not damaged, wet or dirty around the buttons
4Clear the code after the checks and road test the car. If it returns and the MEM button still sticks, replace the control panel
