The rear electronic module (REM) receives too high a signal from the door switch that should show the door is closed. This suggests the switch is shorted to supply voltage. The module checks the door status by briefly powering the switches, so the fault also affects the door alarm.

2If the status does not change, the fault is permanent. Then only fault-trace the circuit for the door that showed the wrong status

4Use a multimeter to check that the wire from the door switch has no contact with voltage
5If the fault remains, have a workshop with diagnostic equipment check the rear electronic module (REM) and the switch
