Was bedeutet der Fehlercode?
Signals A, B, IX and IY from the sensor are faulty, and the fault is permanent: it is present now. It originates in the sensor or its control module, and may be due to poor contact or a broken wire.

- Fault within the sensor's control module
Was Sie tun können
- 1Read and note the code, clear it and road test to see whether it returns straight away
- 2Check the connectors at the sensor control module and the steering wheel module for oxide and contact resistance
- 3With diagnostic equipment, watch signals A, B, IX and IY while turning the wheel to each end stop; switching OFF/ON points to poor contact or oxide
- 4Check the wiring between the control module and the sensor for short circuits between the wires and for breaks
- 5If no wiring fault is found, a workshop may need to replace the steering wheel angle sensor
- 6Stability control is off while the fault is present, so have a workshop repair it promptly
