Was bedeutet der Fehlercode?
The steering angle sensor reads a code wheel with optical sensors, and the code is set when the current in one of its digital sensors is out of range. The fault is caused by a damaged steering angle sensor.

- Damaged steering angle sensor.
Was Sie tun können
- 1With the engine running, turn the wheel fully right and then fully left, and see whether the code is still stored.
- 2With a diagnostic tool, read the counters for the code. Many incorrect drive cycles point to a recurring fault.
- 3The sensor is mounted beneath the contact reel and is changed along with it. Have a workshop carry out the replacement.
- 4If the code returns after that, have a workshop replace the steering wheel module (SWM).
- 5The angle sensor is part of the steering and stability system. Have a workshop diagnose and replace it rather than working on the wheel yourself.
