Was bedeutet der Fehlercode?
The SRS control module has registered that the resistance in the circuit for passenger airbag stage 2 has been too high for a while. The fault is intermittent, meaning it has occurred at some point but may not be present right now. The cause may be a break in the ignition cable or its connectors, or a break inside the airbag.
Mögliche Ursachen
- Break in the igniter lead or its connectors between the airbag and the SRS control module
- Break inside the airbag, so that the igniter has too high a resistance
Was Sie tun können
- 1Read and note the code, clear it and road test the car to see whether it returns
- 2Have a workshop check that the connectors to the passenger airbag and the control module are fully engaged and not oxidised or damaged
- 3If the code returns: have a workshop measure the resistance in the circuit with diagnostic equipment
- 4Do not work on the airbag system yourself; all work on the airbag and its wiring is done by a workshop
