Was bedeutet der Fehlercode?
The supplemental restraint system (SRS) has received a message that the voltage in the occupant weight sensor (OWS) is too high. The fault concerns the signal in the sensor system, which includes the seat belt force sensor. The passenger airbag is deactivated, and the SRS and PAD lamps come on.
Mögliche Ursachen
- Short to supply voltage in the signal wire or plugs between the parts of the OWS
- Damaged seat belt force sensor

- 1Read and clear the code, and check whether it returns after a restart
- 2Have a workshop inspect the wires from the OWS module to the belt force sensor for a short to supply voltage
- 3Have a workshop replace the seat belt force sensor if no short-circuit is found
- 4Do not work on the airbag system yourself; have a workshop carry out all work on the SRS and airbags
