Was bedeutet der Fehlercode?
The supplemental restraint system (SRS) has received a message that the occupant weight sensor (OWS) has no signal. The signal should come from the seat belt force sensor, and the fault lies in the signal line or the connectors between them. The passenger airbag is deactivated, and the SRS and PAD lamps come on.
Mögliche Ursachen
- Open circuit in the signal line or connectors between the seat belt force sensor and the occupant weight sensor control module
- Damaged seat belt force sensor

- 1Read and clear the code, and check whether it returns after a restart
- 2Have a workshop inspect the wires from the OWS module to the belt force sensor for an open circuit
- 3Have a workshop replace the seat belt force sensor if no wiring damage is found
- 4Do not work on the airbag system yourself; have a workshop carry out all work on the SRS and airbags
