Was bedeutet der Fehlercode?
The fault is sub-fault B of the driver's lap seat belt pretensioner. The control module stores it when the voltage in the circuit is too low, caused by a wire shorted to ground, or by contact resistance, oxidation and short circuits in the connections.
Mögliche Ursachen
- The wire is short-circuited to ground.
- Contact resistance or oxidation in the connections.
- Short circuit in the connections.
Was Sie tun können
- 1Read out the fault code and clear it. If it comes back, the fault is still present.
- 2Have a workshop check the connectors at the control module and at the driver's lap pretensioner for looseness and oxidation.
- 3Have a workshop check the wire to the lap pretensioner for a short circuit to ground in the vehicle body.
- 4If the fault is still present once the wiring has been checked, have a workshop replace the driver's lap pretensioner.
- 5Do not work on seat belt pretensioners or the airbag system yourself; have a workshop carry out the checks.
