The supplemental restraint system module (SRS) checks the occupant weight sensor (OWS). The code is stored when the occupant weight sensor sends fault messages. The cause may be that the occupant weight sensor is wrongly installed.

- 1Read and note the code, clear it, and see whether it returns
- 2Have a workshop check that the components in the occupant weight sensor system are correctly installed
- 3If no fault is found, have a workshop replace the occupant weight sensor and calibrate it after replacement
- 4Do not work on the airbag system yourself; have a workshop check it
