The supplemental restraint system module (SRS) measures the voltage in the circuit to the driver's seat position sensor. The code is stored when the voltage is too low and the incorrect value has persisted for a while. The cause may be a wire shorted to ground, contact resistance in the connections, or a short circuit in the connections.
