The airbag control module (SRS) has found that the signal from the passenger-side belt reel sensor is short-circuited to an adjacent signal in the connector. The cause is that the sensor's connector is fitted incorrectly.

- 1Read and note the code, clear it and see whether it comes back
- 2Have a workshop check that the connector to the passenger-side belt reel sensor is seated correctly and that the wiring is not damaged
- 3If the check shows no fault, have a workshop replace the passenger-side belt reel sensor
- 4Do not work on the airbag system yourself; have a workshop carry out the check and, if needed, the replacement
