Was bedeutet der Fehlercode?
The fault code is labelled bus off, but it concerns an open circuit in the circuit to the left rear damper solenoid. The suspension control module (SUM) cannot drive the solenoid in that case, and Four-C is switched off.
Mögliche Ursachen
- Poor contact from oxidation or contact resistance in the connectors
- Open circuit in the power supply wire
- Open circuit in the solenoid's return wire
- Damaged solenoid

- 1Check the connectors at the left rear damper and at the control module for looseness or oxidation
- 2Use a multimeter to check that the supply and return wires to the solenoid are not broken, with the ignition switched off
- 3Read the fault status after the test drive to see whether the fault remains
- 4If the wires are sound: have a workshop check the solenoid return wire and replace the solenoid if needed
