Was bedeutet der Fehlercode?
The SUM reads a voltage from the three Four-C switches to decide which drive program has been selected. The fault code is set when there is a break in the switch circuit.
Mögliche Ursachen
- Contact resistance or oxidation in the connectors
- A break in the wire from the switches
- Damaged Four-C switch
Was Sie tun können
- 1Read the code, note it and clear it, then road test the car
- 2Check that the relevant fuses are intact; their locations are in the owner's manual
- 3Check that the connectors at the switches are firm and free from oxidation
- 4Inspect the wire from the switches for breaks, chafing and pinch damage
- 5Use a multimeter to check that the wire from the switches has no break
- 6If the fault returns, have a workshop with diagnostic equipment check the switches and the wire
