The steering wheel angle sensor, built into the steering wheel module (SWM), has logged a fault inside the module. The stability functions are switched off while it is present.

- 1Stability control is switched off while the fault is present, so drive carefully until it has been repaired
- 2Read and note the code, clear it and road test to see whether it returns
- 3If you have a diagnostic tool: read the steering angle value in live data and check that it changes smoothly when the wheel is turned from lock to lock
- 4If the fault returns, have a workshop replace the steering wheel module (SWM), since the angle sensor cannot be replaced separately
