Was bedeutet der Fehlercode?

The transmission control module (TCM) has found that lock-up solenoid SL has stuck at an intermediate position, neither fully open nor fully closed. The control module compares the solenoid signal with the signal from the lock-up pressure sensor, which detects whether the solenoid is activated. The lock-up function therefore cannot be controlled as it should be.

1Read off the fault code, clear it and road test the car to see whether it comes back
2Check the transmission oil level and quality. If there is water in the oil, a workshop should check and replace the oil cooler and the hoses to the transmission
3Use a multimeter to check that the wires to the solenoid have no open circuit and are not shorted to ground
4If the fault remains, the transmission control system may need replacing, and sometimes the transmission itself; a workshop does this
