Was bedeutet der Fehlercode?
The automatic transmission control module receives speed signals from the sensor on the transmission and uses them to pick the right gear. The control module compares the transmission speed with the engine speed. The fault means the speed signal is too high or does not agree with the rpm.
Mögliche Ursachen
- The power supply or signal cable is short-circuited to voltage
- Defective transmission speed sensor
Was Sie tun können
- 1Read off the fault code, clear it and road test the car to see whether it comes back
- 2Have a diagnostic tool? Read the transmission speed in live data and press the accelerator; the value should update as it should
- 3Use a multimeter to check that the cables to the speed sensor are not shorted to voltage, and that the connectors are free from oxidation and firmly seated
- 4Have a workshop check the speed sensor and the connectors at the control module; if the sensor is faulty it should be replaced
Symptome, die Sie bemerken können4
- General orange warning lamp on
- No lock-up function
- Harsh gear shifting
- Automatic transmission warning lamp flashing
Was der Fehler beeinflussen kann3
- Line pressure is not reduced when shifting or when the gear selector is moved between P-R, N-R and N-D
- No torque limiting request is sent to the engine control module when shifting
- The Emergency mode II program is activated
