Was bedeutet der Fehlercode?
The transmission control module receives the requested torque signal from the engine control module (ECM) over the CAN network. The signal is missing or faulty. The transmission uses it to decide shift points and to adjust system pressure. The fault lies in the engine control module, so fault tracing starts there.
Mögliche Ursachen
- The fault lies in the engine control module (ECM)
- A CAN wire that is intermittently broken or shorted, linking the engine module to the transmission module
Was Sie tun können
- 1Read the fault codes in the CEM and the engine control module, and fix them first. Do not clear TCM-C007400 while they are still present
- 2Have a workshop trace the engine control module and the CAN network with diagnostic equipment
- 3Clear TCM-C007400 once the root fault is fixed and drive the car to see whether the code returns
Symptome, die Sie bemerken können5
- Malfunction Indicator Light (check engine) lit or behaving abnormally
- Engine stalls at idle when a gear is engaged
- Engine stalls when slowing down
- Lock-up does not work
- Shifts hard or jerky
Was der Fehler beeinflussen kann2
- The transmission control module uses the requested torque signal sent from the engine control module on HS-CAN 1
- If that signal is also faulty, the transmission control module uses a basic value and the transmission runs an auxiliary program
