Was bedeutet der Fehlercode?
The longitudinal accelerometer sits in the AYC sensor and sends its value to the brake control module on its own CAN wire. It is only fitted to four-wheel-drive cars. The code is set when the signal from the sensor is implausible, and the fault may come from interference, low voltage, incorrect wheel alignment or an internal fault in the sensor.
Mögliche Ursachen
- Interference or noise on the wires that has disturbed the AYC sensor's calculations
- Supply voltage to the AYC sensor too low
- Incorrect wheel alignment
- Internal fault in the AYC sensor
Was Sie tun können
- 1Check the connectors at the brake control module and the AYC sensor for contact resistance and oxidation
- 2Make sure no interference source, such as a mobile phone or radio receiver, sits too close to the AYC sensor
- 3If the code status is intermittent, poor contact or an interference source has probably been the cause; if the fault remains, have a workshop check the sensor
- 4The brake system is safety critical: do not replace the brake control module for this code, and drive carefully until the fault is fixed
