Was bedeutet der Fehlercode?
The positive feed to the coolant pump for the auxiliary heater has a short to ground, or the signal from the pump is too low. The heater's function is blocked. The fault may be in the cable or in the pump itself.
Mögliche Ursachen
- Damaged cable or connection to the coolant pump
- Damaged coolant pump
- Cable between the heater control module and the coolant pump short-circuited to ground
- Contact resistance, oxidation or loose connections
Was Sie tun können
- 1With the ignition off, check the connectors and the cable to the coolant pump for corrosion, looseness and visible damage.
- 2Use a multimeter to check that the cable to the coolant pump has no contact with ground (the body).
- 3If you have a diagnostic tool: activate the water pump and listen for a buzzing sound. If nothing is heard, the fault is still present.
- 4Replace the coolant pump if it is damaged, or have a workshop do it.
- 5If the fault remains after checking the wiring, have a workshop check the heater control module.
